Ed Sheeran auction raises £30,000 for St Elizabeth Hospice
St Elizabeth Hospice gathered some of Ed Sheeran's prized possessions and took them to Bishop & Miller auctioneers in Stowmarket to raise money for 'Zest' - part of the St Elizabeth Hospice family that supports young adults. Amongst Ed's possessions was a HOAX surfboard signed by the man himself.  There were various other items gifted to the hospice to be sold off at auction for the fantastic independent charity - one that improves life for those with progressive and terminal illnesses through palliative care.

The artist of the decade donated over 300 items, amounting to £30,000 worth of donations for the hospice, with the signed surfboard fetching £460 at the auction house in Ed's home county of Suffolk. As well as local Suffolk fans competing for bids in the auction house, global interest stretched far and wide with winning bids on the internet from Japan, America, Canada and many items being sold to Germany and Ireland.
